1. Using ExtinctBook

ExtinctBook provides a digital ledger (khata) service for small business owners in India. By using the app or website, you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older and operating a legitimate business.

2. Your data

Your khata data belongs to you. We store it securely to provide the service. You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• → Use ExtinctBook for illegal purposes
• → Enter false or misleading information
• → Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the service
• → Use automated tools to access the service without permission

4. Free tier and paid features

The core ExtinctBook khata is free: unlimited customers, unlimited entries, WhatsApp reminders. Future paid features will be clearly marked. Your free tier will not be retroactively restricted.

5. Service availability

ExtinctBook is provided as-is. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. For business-critical use, always maintain a local backup of your most important balances.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.
